President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are certainly not camera-shy. President Obama recently made a guest appearance on Funny or Die, while being interviewed by Zach Galifianakis’ in his “Between Two Ferns” parody show. The Hangover star’s sketches have become viral sensations as he awkwardly interviews various celebrities.  Funny or Die is a popular comedy video website which features original and user-generated content. Galifianakis is a show regular, and this time he has the privilege of “interviewing” the Commander-in-chief. The parody show is not just for fun and games, President Obama is trying to encourage America’s youth to register for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act on the government’s website, healthcare.gov.

Galifianakis opens:

“I’m sorry I had to cancel a bunch of times,”

“My mouse pad broke last week, and I had to get my great-aunt some diabetes shoes.”

The president responds:

“Zach, it’s no problem,”

“When I heard that people actually watch the show, I was pretty surprised.”

Galifianakis asks Obama about pardoning a turkey in 2013, to which he replies:

“Was that painful for you? Seeing one turkey taken out of circulation—a turkey that you couldn’t eat?”

Later on, the bearded comedian asks:

“How does it feel to be the last black president?”

The president fires back with quick-witted comments:

“If I ran a third time, it would be sort of like doing a third Hangover movie,”

“It didn’t really work out very well, did it?”
