Two new teasers for the much-anticipated ‘Godzilla’ have arrived just before the release of the second official trailer expected today or tomorrow. The first teaser kicks off with Bryan Cranston’s dialogue as he shouts in fear and panic:
“You’re not fooling anybody when you say that what happened was a natural disaster,” “You’re lying! You’re hiding something out there! It was not an earthquake, it wasn’t a typhoon. This is what caused everything in the first place. Don’t you see that! And it is going to send us back to the stone age. You have no idea what’s coming!”
Cranston portrays Joseph “Joe” Brody, lead scientist of a team dispatched by M.U.T.O. His team is responsible for investigating the discovery of skeleton remains and a cocoon found in a sinkhole.
The second teaser features the beast’s thunderous roar!
“An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence”
Cranston is supported by Aaron Johnson who portrays his on-screen son Ford, and Elizabeth Olsen is Ford’s wife. They are also joined by Ken Watanabe, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins and David Strathairn. The Gareth Edwards directed monster flick is set to be released on May 16.
