One of the most iconic chick duo flicks ever made might be heading for a remake according to recent reports. Actress Michelle Rodriguez and Victoria’s Secret model Cara Delevingne has reportedly “lined up a screen test” to star in the “Thelma and Louise” remake. The 1991 Oscar winning original film directed by Ridley Scott, starred Geena Davis as Thelma and Susan Sarandon as Louise. They were supported by Brad Pitt and Michael Madsen in a story that follows two working-class friends who together have planned a weekend getaway. They eventually end up murdering a would-be rapist and chased by a cop when they are forced to make a fateful decision about their lives.

Ohnotheydidnt. com mentioned that “Delevingne’s acting experience to date is limited, she’s made her ambitions concerning the big screen known, and has even been credited with having “natural acting talent” by director Michael Winterbottom, who cast her for his 2014 release, The Face of an Angel, which was inspired by the 2009 murder trial involving Amanda Knox.”  So she can act, the runway beauty seems to have many hidden talents! Maybe Rodriguez will vouch for her to take the lead in the remake? Who knows, if there is any truth this be sure to expect a lot of questions!

The wild rumor has not been confirmed but Rodriguez fans can expect to see her as Letty Ortiz in “Fast and Furious 7” in the meantime.
