“Sharknado 2: The Second One” is shaking up a storm with hot casting news! Vivica A. Fox, Andy Dick, Judd Hirsch, Judah Friedlander, Mark McGrath and Kelly Osbourne are all set to star in the sequel, which will premiere in July 2014. Reports confirmed last week that Ian Ziering and Tara Reid will be back to take on the shark filled tornado in the Big Apple.

- Vivvica A. Fox – Fin’s old high school friend Skye
- Mark McGrath as Fin’s brother-in-law

“Sharnado” is in many ways a terrible movie, and no one could have predicted that a second installment would be in the works. The success of the Syfy, made-for-TV movie is purely based on social hype and cult following. At its peak, the original film generated over 5,000 tweets per minute. I suppose if we take into consideration what the pic has to offer, Sharnado is doing exactly what it’s supposed to. It’s an awesome, cheesy, low budget made-for-TV horror movie!
