The controversial incident surrounding  the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ performance at the recent Super Bowl has caught the attention of the former front man of Guns N’ Roses, Axl Rose. It is bad enough that Flea was seen doing his signature high jumps in the air with the bass guitar not even connected to his amp, and now to make matters worse,  everybody is chiming in with a comment.

Flea even addressed the issue in an open letter:

“NFL does not want to risk their show being botched by bad sound, period,”

The Bassist admitted that the band members faked their performance while Anthony Kiedis sang live.

Taking full advantage of RHCP’s mishap, Rose is not holding back with the snarky comments:

“Maybe they all had microchips installed in their asses,”

Adding that it could be part of a new invention called “Google Ass.”

He jokingly says:

“They could be ‘Scientific Pioneers!’ “

He continues to pour on about the “Scientific discovery” as he jokingly says:

“In the name of science and for all mankind Flea courageously had a newly invented breakthrough in microchip technology installed in his ass that picked up the frequencies of his bass and transmitted them to his amplifier,”

Rose took to an op-ed on Billboard as he continues his jokes about the incident:

“If the band wasn’t really playing or wireless or whatever and Anthony was really singing they may have set a new world record for the largest karaoke audience ever! Awesome!”

He also said:

“I enjoyed the show and I’ve no idea what the real story is nor would I want to suggest or imply anyone wasn’t actually performing or that what they were playing wasn’t what we actually heard. That said I feel it’s important to always look on the positive side of things and to give the benefit of doubt.”
