Opportunity Rover made a baffling discovery on Mars, and although it may not be water or signs of life, it sure has the NASA scientists baffled. The following photo was sent back by Opportunity Rover, taken on 8 January 2014, compared to a photo taken on the exact same location 2 weeks earlier (December 26 2013). Spot the difference?

Opportunity Mars Rover Discovers White Rock

Opportunity Mars Rover Discovers White Rock

The younger more advanced Curiosity Rover that landed on Mars in August 2012 is currently on the other side of the planet. It is good to see that the almost forgotten Opportunity Rover is still going strong and making some very important discoveries, after being on Mars for more than a decade.

It is suspected that the white rock was flipped over by one of the rover’s wheels, or it was deposited there after a recent meteorite landing. It definitely looks out of place doesn’t it? We suspect foul play by alien intelligence!
