Lady Sif – Next Thor and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Crossover Announced

Marvels Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D picked up a bit of momentum after a really slow end to the holiday break. Starting last week  they gave  us two episodes that were some of the best ones in the series. Last week we finally learnt what happened to Agent Coulson in Tahiti, and this week we were introduced to a new Superhero prior to him discovering his powers. This character has the same issue as Quicksilver with two production companies fighting over the use of his name. Are we even allowed to say his name here before Fox sues us? Iceman!

Lucky for us Marvel announced that Jamie Alexander will reprise her role as Lady Sif from the Thor films in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The report says that Lady Sif  is coming to Earth for a very specific mission, but they give no details on what that mission will actually be. We wish she would have a slightly bigger role in the cinematic universe, but we’ll take what we get, which is why we’re still watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. We can’t help but feel that these crossovers are keeping the show alive. We’ve already had a Thor crossover, and a Captain America crossover is sure to happen as well.

The Lady Sif is making a trip to Midgard, and her journey will lead her straight to our favorite Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. That’s right, True Believers, Jaimie Alexander will make a special guest appearance as Sif in an upcoming episode of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” reprising her role from Marvel’s “Thor” and “Thor: The Dark World”! Last seen in “Thor: The Dark World”—now the third largest grossing Marvel Studios film—Sif has come to Earth with a very specific mission. Unfortunately, we can’t tell you just what brings her to our neck of the woods just yet.

With The Walking Dead returning soon, and Game of Thrones 2 months away, we’re going to have to make some tough choices. We’re hoping Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D becomes the show we all know and hope it could be! At least it’s better then DC’s Arrow right?
