Number one crowd funding site KickStarter released their statistics for 2013, showing us exactly how much money they received, how many products where fully funded, how many people funded, and much more. It is truly amazing to see how many people are realizing their dreams through KickStarter.

3 million backers pledged $480 million to projects in 2013,this averages out to $1,315,520 pledged a day, or $913 per minute. The backers came from 214 countries and territories, and all seven continents. Some backers were more generous than others: 975 people personally backed more than 100 different projects. 19911 projects were successful funded in 2013. The most popular projects were:
- Pebble
- Oculus Rift
- Ouya
- Goldie Box
- Delorean Hovercraft
- Human-Powered Helicopter
