Michael Bay on stage for his live CES 2014 presentation

Arguably one of the best action movie directors we’ve ever seen, but his live on-stage presentation skills may need some work. During Samsung’s CES press event today, the company brought Michael Bay to discuss the company’s new curved HDTVs.

Unfortunately for Bay, Samsung appeared to have issues with the teleprompters being used to cue onstage presenters. Then Michael Bay had a mini-meltdown. Gave a peace-sign and walked of the stage. He later posted the following on his blog:

Wow! I just embarrassed myself at CES – I was about to speak for Samsung for this awesome Curved 105-inch UHD TV. I rarely lend my name to any products, but this one is just stellar. I got so excited to talk, that I skipped over the Exec VP’s intro line and then the teleprompter got lost. Then the prompter went up and down – then I walked off. I guess live shows aren’t my thing.

Not to worry Michael, we all hate being on stage anyway. You can make up for it with the next Transformers. Make it awesome! Here’s the video:
