What does Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson have up his sleeve? Is there another superhero movie we can look forward to? The Rock teased fans during a question & answer session via Twitter on New Year’s Eve. Apparently there is something in the works for an upcoming DC Comics project, Johnson met with Warner Bros’ CEO to discuss the unnamed project.

Wow! DC will prepare to fork out quite a bit to court Johnson seeing that he is the Top Grossing Actor of 2013. Star power and an intriguing comic book character will be needed to keep the momentum with the much anticipated “Man of Steel” sequel to hit theatres in 2015. This is not the first time we’ve seen reports that The Rock is linked to potential DC movies. He was previously linked to play DC’s interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter Lobo. Unfortunately nothing came of it. The recently canned “Shazam!” movie also had a spot available for Johnson to portray Black Adam.
We will have to be annoyingly patient to see what will pan out eventually. The Rock can be seen next in the “Hercules: The Thracian Wars” due July 25 and he will reprise his role as Luke Hobbs in “Fast and Furious 7“.
