“Sherlock” star Benedict Cumberbatch recited R. Kelly’s single, “Genius,” on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” show on Wednesday, December 4. He joined the ABC talk show to promote his new movie “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug”. The British actor sits on a stool under a spotlight while reading the provocative lyrics from the hip-hop song. The song comes from Kelly’s new album, with the subtle title “Black Panties.”

Well, that’s elementary, my dear Watson!

Here are some of the sexy lines Cumberbatch deliver with a sophisticated British accent:

“Go to sleep, and when we wake up, I’mma hit that thing again, promise,”

He continues:

“Body’s so freakin’ soft. I can’t wait to turn you on. You got me la la la la, baby.”

Kimmel said:

“I give you Emmy, Golden Globe, and BAFTA nominee, Benedict Cumberbatch,”

“The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” is scheduled to be released on December 13.
