Sesame Street’s Cookie monster is back and taking on “Lord of the Rings”, fresh on the heels of the “The Hungry Games: Catching Fur” spoof released a couple of weeks ago. The new clip titled “Lord of the Crumbs,” follows Cookie Monster as Gobble (Gollum), who loses his “precious” cookie recipe. He desperately tries to remember the recipe using rhyme, with the assistance of a golden-haired elf. Cookie Monster eventually bakes cookies “in the fires of Mount Crumb” and brings the dessert back to Monster Earth.
