The official plot for “Transformers: Age of Extinction” has been revealed. We finally have an idea of what to expect from director Michael Bay who recently spoke to Empire magazine as previously mentioned:
“Earth is scarred by the events of the past three movies, but is moving on after all the giant robots disappeared,”
“Cade Yeager, an inventor, discovers a buried Transformer which sets the stage for the return of the rest of the Transformers.”

Bay also spoke to Yahoo! revealing that he wants “Transformers 4” to feel more cinematic and slick than the first Transformers film trilogy. His aim is to give the fourth installment a look and feel that is distinctly different compared to the Transformers films produced in the past.
Bay says:
“I wanted the first Transformers to be very suburban and less cool, this is a much more cinematic one. I focused on keeping this one slick. There won’t be any goofiness in this one. We went a bit too goofy [on the last one]. It feels like a new chapter, this movie, but it’s not a reboot. This movie lives in the history of the Transformers movies, and this one starts three years after the last. It feels fresh.”
Set with an all new human cast, Mark Wahlberg portrays Cade Yeager, Nicola Peltz will play his daughter and Jack Reynor will be Peltz’s boyfriend. Kelsey Grammer takes on the role as the main baddie. “Transformers: Age of Extinction” is scheduled to be released on June 27, 2014
