Casting rumors are coming in hot and heavy this week for the hotly anticipated “Star Wars 7.“Jedi News reports that Emmanuelle Chriqui (“Entourage”), Alexis Dziena (“Fool’s Gold”) and Taissa Farmiga (“American Horror Story: Coven”) are interested to take on a role. Open auditions are currently held to look for a tough teenage girl and a charismatic, funny guy from 19 to 23. The producers are apparently looking to fill a new role for “a 40-something military man a la Matt Damon in Elysium” according to recent reports. “X-Men: First Class” actor Jason Flemyng was apparently auditioning for the movie after he posted on Instagram a script, which he claimed to be a screenplay from the movie. Matt Smith (“Doctor Who”) was also reportedly linked to the mysterious role.

The J.J. Abrams-directed movie is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015. Filming is scheduled to begin in 2014 at Pinewood Studios outside London.
