Falling In Reverse to Release Rap-Metal Mix Tape

Falling in Reverse head man Ronnie Radke is working on a rap-metal mix tape with some very popular and currently ‘hot’ metal artists. The news came from Ronnie himself, who in an interview with Loudwire said:

“Well, I’m doing a mix tape right now with everybody on the scene that’s doing well,” he tells Loudwire. “Danny [Worsnop] from Asking Alexandria, Andy [Biersack] from Black Veil Brides is singing on it. It’s all rap, but they’re singing all the choruses on it. There’s Jacoby [Shaddix] from Papa Roach. There’s Deuce, and we’ve got Craig Mabbitt [from Escape the Fate] singing on it. There’s more too, but every track is going to be someone.”

We’re not quite sure what to make of this, Falling in Reverse’s latest album ‘Fashionably Late’ was a horrible first attempt at the combining of metal with rap and ‘skrillexque’ type beats. We reviewed the album here, and as you can see we do not approve.

Rather shocking is the guys mentioned above working with him. Is Ronnie onto something here? Is there something we don’t know about this new rap-metal genre? If you want to get an idea of what this mix-rap-metal may sound like, then check-out Falling in Reverse’s ‘Alone’ video below:
