The official music video for Arcade Fire’s “Afterlife” has arrived. The clip features a Spanish family having dinner which focuses on a father and his two sons. The older boy doesn’t seem to get along with his dad as they avoid a conversation at the dinner table.The older son sneaks off to visit his friend, eventually falling asleep on the bus on his way home. In the meantime the father puts his younger son to bed and then falls asleep on the couch. They have the same dream meeting the deceased mother, and the young boy is dreaming about being rescued by her.

“Afterlife” features on Arcade Fire’s newest album, “Reflektor”, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 after it was released in October. The smash hit album sold 140,000 copies in its first week, Arcade Fire fans should be on the lookout for their “Reflektor” tour next year.
