Fans of the horror movie “The Conjuring” will be excited to know that a spin-off movie is in the works for the famous haunted doll, Annabelle. Schmoesknow.com reports that the director of photography in the James Wan-directed film, John R. Leonetti, will helm the spin-off movie. Production is expected to begin early 2014.
Based on true events, “The Conjuring” tells the horrifying tale of how world renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.

The creepy horror movie made for only $20 million, smashed the box office with an impressive $313 million worldwide. “The Conjuring” is not done scaring us just yet, a sequel is already in the works with Chad and Carey Hayes penning the script. Vera Farmiga (Lorraine) and Patrick Wilson (Ed) are expected to reprise their roles as the curious paranormal investigators.
