PlayStation 4

Next gen consoles are upon us. In less than 3 days we’ll have the PS4, and one week after that the XBox One. The PS4 will be available from November 15 in the U.S. and will hit stores in Europe from November 29. In total the PS4 will be available in 32 countries. Microsoft will also open sales for it’s XBox One in November. It will be interesting to see how the sales go head to head with each other.  Sony has priced the PlayStation 4, its first new console in seven years, $100 lower than the new Xbox One by Microsoft at $399. Microsoft unveiled the Xbox One in May, its first new gaming console in eight years, marking its strongest push so far.

Sony recently increased the level of hype surrounding the November 15th release date with these hyped-up videos.

The commercials focus on the exclusive games coming to the console (you’ll hear the word exclusive a lot), the idea that there are no longer any “limits” or “barriers” holding back both players, and developers. the commercials also showcases the greater freedom available to gamers, and more expansive game worlds offered by next-gen titles. You’ll see the PS4’s latest and greatest features, like its cross-play ability with the PS Vita. The final commercial in the supernova of hype, is all about that sleek new controller. The DUALSHOCK 4 has a couple of pretty interesting new features, all of which are covered in the video.
