Many fans are still recovering since the sad news that “Happy Endings” was canceled by ABC after three seasons. Damon Wayans Jr. fans should rejoice considering the funny man is creating a new show. Huffingtonpost.com reports that Wayans is developing “Man/Child”, which has recently been picked up by 20th Century Fox with a pilot production commitment.

The “Happy Endings” actor will star in the series which centers two single dads who move in together and “struggle to find the balance between being responsible parents and debaucherous bachelors.” “Modern Family” co-executive producer and director Jason Winer will direct the pilot. The show will be written by Reed Agnew and Eli Jorne, the showrunners from FX’s comedy “Wilfred”. Fox TV and Small Dog Picture Company will produce the pilot.
