More news emerge to shed some light as to why Charlie Hunnam decided to make a swift exit from the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie. Initially the internet was buzzing with an official statement from Universal suggesting the “Sons of Anarchy” star decided to leave the sexy movie due to “Hunnam’s immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role”.

Some still believe it is due to all the “hate speech” from the fans of the erotic novel who launched a petition to have him and Dakota Johnson removed as the leads.

Now, a recent report from the hollywoodreporter.com suggests that Hunnam’s departure is due to creative differences. Hunnam was conflicted over the film’s script before he decided to depart the project. The “Pacific Rim” star reportedly submitted some detailed notes about the script which was declined.

Patrick Marber was reporterly hired as scribe to do some rewrites to accommodate Hunnam’s requests. Another interesting piece of news is that Hunnam was to receive only $125,000 to take on the role as Grey. Who will be the next contenders for the coveted role?
