Hollywoodreporter.com informs us that the new Terminator, planned to be a reboot of the franchise, has been pushed back a few days from June 26, 2015, to July 1, 2015. Many rearrangements are expected with major blockbusters storming cinemas in the summer of 2015. “Avengers: Age of Ultron” (May 1), “Man of Steel 2” (July 17), “Ant-Man” (July 31) and many more will be contending for the top spot at the box office.
The release date will see the robot sci-fi film, going head-to-head with both Roland Emmerich’s Independence Day 2 and an untitled project from Illumination Entertainment (creators of Despicable Me and The Lorax). The cast selection is still a mystery, with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson rumored to likely face off against Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Lots of popcorn, coke and comfortable cinema seats are predicted in my future set for 2015. Moviegoers can expect a full slate with at least 13 blockbusters to look forward to.
