The Mark Web directed film, “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”, is proving to be a true menace for the web swinging hero. The sequel will supposedly feature four villains to keep the Spidey-Senses working overtime.

The attractive “Like Crazy” actress will look interesting in a tight leather outfit. As far as her character is concerned Black Cat started out as a thief who was attempting to break her father out of prison. The black cat has been described as a stunning, deadly thief who thirsts for power. Her character has gone though several changes and will be among the anti-villains at times. She was institutionalized and had the occasional fling with Spider-man. It is unclear what Black Cats involvement will be and to what extent the storyline will incorporate her influence.
Vulture – Colm Feore

Feore has always been a formidable bad guy. His chatachter, The Vulture, is intellectually brilliant in the fields of electronics and mechanical engineering. He utilizes a harness which gives him the ability to fly and consists of an electromagnetic anti-graviton generator to enable him to fly silently with precise manoeuvrability. The harness also increases his resistance to injury. The Vulture first encountered Spider-Man when he was on a robbery and burglary spree throughout New York City.
Electro – Jamie Foxx

Jamie foxx has reportedly been spotted in full makeup as electro. He is an interesting choice to portray the character considering electro is traditional a caucasian male. This is a side comment considering the “Django Unchained” actor was selected on his acting ability and proven track record. Electro can be described as an emotional unstable character with an inferiority complex. He was struck by lightning while working on power lines and discovers that he has a superhuman control over electricity. He has been a main protagonist ever since, proving to be a force to be reckoned with. Electro has fought Spider-Man countless times, either on his own or as part of a group such as the Sinister Six.
Rhino – Paul Giamatti

Giamatti spent the bulk of his career playing comedy roles or portraying wimpy characters. It will be interesting to see what his character has in store for the upcoming sequel. Rhino (Aleksei Sytsevich) started out a is a poor immigrant from Russia who became a New York thug under the alias Alex O’Hirn. He participated in an experiment that bonded a super-strong polymer to his skin and gave him enhanced strength, speed, and stamina.
For those of you unfamiliar with “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” premise, the following has been confirmed
- Sally Field and Martin Sheen will again appear as Aunt May and Uncle Ben
- We will see the return of Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane Watson will be appearing in “The Amazing Spiderman 3”
- Norman (Chris Cooper) and Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) will make their return
- The story will focus on Peter Parker’s character development as he adjusts to this his superhero, crime fighting lifestyle
The film is scheduled to be released on May 2, 2014.
It will be interesting to see what is store for the future squeals.
