Deadpool depicter Ryan Reynolds says he wants the movie to be rated R according to his tweet on Monday, March 30. The “Green Lantern” actor also posted a pic of him and a little boy at the gym while he was working out. He is in top shape and ready to take on the role by the look of things, the caption reads:
“This stud out-benched me in the gym Sunday. Nice meeting you Adley,”
He replied to a fan who asked him if “Deadpool” would be rated R or PG-13, he said:
“I want #Deadpool to be R. Always have. Fighting the good fight still. Lotta yelling today,”
Directed by Tim Miller and produced by Lauren Shuler Donner, “Deadpool” is currently in production in Vancouver. Reynolds returns as the masked mercenary in the Marvel pic from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Simon Kinberg is producing with Lauren Shuler Donner for a release date slated early 2016. Morena Baccarin is cast as the female lead opposite Renolds, and Gina Carano is set to play Angel Dust, a mutant whose ability allows her to elevate her adrenaline levels to provide her with super strength.
