Armies of Azeroth – Warcraft 4
Memories!Memories everywhere! We are super excited to announce the most real/ closest thing you will ever get to a Warcraft 4 game: Armies of Azeroth. What started out as a Warcraft skin on the Star Craft 2 engine has now become a full-blown Warcraft game using all of the Warcraft units based on the Star Craft 2 real time strategy game. The first gameplay video was released Yesterday and we are blown away at how amazing it looks!

Warcraft: Armies of Azeroth is the Starcraft II based remake of Warcraft III,which adds some new gameplay features,but saves original balance and graphical design with massive use of resources from other games created by Blizzard Entertainment.
Features of the mod:
1.Better graphics engine
2.New models of units,heroes,buildings,doodads and etc.
3.Opportunity for modmakers to create their own mods and maps in Warcraft style
4.Better control system and interface
5.Warcraft III original balance
6.No Starcraft II purchase required
From what we can tell this is a completely community driven project. We were huge Warcraft players back in the day, and a Warcraft 4 game has become something of a mythical unicorn where we wonder if we will ever get to see it.
