Divergent Series – Insurgent Trailer
The Hunger Games, a.k.a Divergent series of movies are moving ahead with Summit Entertainment releasing the final trailer for The Diverent Series: Insurgent. This is the sequel to the dystopian thriller Divergent, and it stars Shailene Woodley, Kate Winslet, Theo James, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Octavia Spencer, and Naomi Watts.
The trailer features some solid new footage from the movie, and in case you wanted an explanation behind Tris’ new short haircut, this trailer gives it to you. “I wanted something different,” she says as she stares deep into the eyes of her love interest, played by James. She’s also being consumed by anger.
The first movie was OK, but the sequel seems like it could be much better. I’m not the biggest fan of Woodley, but regardless of that, I’ll go check it out. It looks like the movie will deliver fans the entertainment they are looking for.
The Diverent Series: Insurgent raises the stakes for Tris as she searches for allies and answers in the ruins of a futuristic Chicago. Tris (Woodley) and Four (James) are now fugitives on the run, hunted by Jeanine (Winslet), the leader of the power-hungry Erudite elite. Racing against time, they must find out what Tris’s family sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them. Haunted by her past choices but desperate to protect the ones she loves, Tris, with Four at her side, faces one impossible challenge after another as they unlock the truth about the past and ultimately the future of their world.
The movie will be released in theaters on March 20th.
