Remember when we had the privilege of enjoying original movies and when most of today’s A-list stars were still in the process of climbing the ranks in Hollywood? The first thing that comes to mind when reviewing the list of top 20 Box Office Movies back in 1995 is the absence of regurgitated movie reboots and remakes. There were a couple of sequels back in the day, but not nearly as many rehashed films we get to see on the silver screen in the last decade. 1995 produced some real gems with the likes of Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey, Robin Williams, Jim Carrey and Will Smith leading the charge to name a few. Even Pierce Brosnan, Kevin Costner and Mel Gibson were still big names in the biz. Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon were also around to treat us to one more epic comedy before both of the Hollywood legends passed away in 2000 and 2001 respectively. The Toy Story franchise got its multi-million start to eventually rake in billions over the years to follow.
