The cast ensemble for “Bond 24” has just received a major boost with the announcement that Academy award winner Christoph Waltz has officially signed on to play a ‘significant’ role. Waltz was made famous by his villainous role in Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds”. We are overjoyed by the news and expect another epic performance by the Austrian actor. “Bond” films are well-known for their epic villains, Waltz is a perfect fit for the impressive franchise filled with villainous masterminds. We don’t have a lot of information indication which role he will be playing, but the dailymail.co.uk says the part is a complex one.

Sources close to the site shared some inside information about the upcoming Bond film, the site shared the following titbits:

‘It’s not immediately evident whether the part’s friend, or foe, or a bit of both,’ a person who has knowledge of the screenplay told me. Although someone else on the production let slip that the character Waltz has signed up for is ‘extremely cunning’. ‘A nemesis of sorts,’ they continued. So will Waltz be the movie’s big bad guy? ‘Not so fast . . . just because he has played bad guys in other movies doesn’t mean he’s going to be the baddie here,’ a Bond 24 spook told me, in a clear bit of misdirection.”
