Foo Fighters, in collaboration with Facebook and HBO, has made available a free concert to be streamed today, October 17 at 11:59 P.M. ET!!! That’s right geeks, “Foo Fighters Sonic Highways: Live from The Cubby Bear” in Chicago will be available via Facebook to celebrate the premiere of the bands documentary “Foo Fighters Sonic Highways” on HBO. The documentary series will chronicle the band’s city hopping road trips to record the album – don’t miss it at 11 P.M. tonight! The show will feature the first ever in-concert performance of the new single “Something from Nothing” from the band’s forthcoming album titled “Sonic Highways”, which is due out November 10.

The album was recorded in eight different cities across the U.S. and will feature “local legends” in each track. We can expect eight songs for each city the guys visited to produce the album. Frontman Dave Grohl said in a statement recently:

“I’ve pulled up the family tree of American music and exposed its roots to find inspiration for the next Foo Fighters album,” “This is a musical map of America.”
