The Walking Dead Renewed For Season 6
Just ahead of The Walking Dead Season 5 premiere, AMC has announced that the epic zombie series has been renewed for a sixth season! I know it’s not really surprising news as it’s the number one highest rated TV drama. The network is going to keep this show going for as long as they possibly can. We already have a confirmed companion/spin-off series that will probably be just as awesome. It’s still nice to get the official confirmation though.
AMC president Charlie Collier said in a statement,
“We could not be more excited for Oct. 12 as we share new episodes of The Walking Dead with fans around the globe. In advance of Sunday’s season five premiere, AMC proudly confirms a sixth season order of this extraordinary series. Thank you to Robert Kirkman, Scott Gimple, the terrific executive producers, and the entire team who brings this compelling world and these rich characters to life. There’s plenty more Dead ahead thanks to their impressive, collective effort.”
The fifth season premieres on October 12th. Bring on the walker carnage!
