We simply loved Nick Tarabay as the treacherous character Ashur in “Spartacus”, and now we will have the pleasure of seeing the actor take on the villainous role as Captain Boomerang in CW’s “Arrow”. Tarabay‘s Digger Harkness a.k.a. Captain Boomerang is set to make his first appearance in the seventh episode, and will recur his role in the eighth episode. Captain Boomerang’s inclusion will serve the purpose of interlinking CW’s “Arrow” with its spin-off series, “The Flash“. The x-ARGUS operative with set out for vengeance against his former employers.

Starling City will officially be villainized by Ra’s al Ghul in the upcoming season, played by ‘Riddick’ Star Matt Nable. Nable is joined by fellow newcomer Brandon Routh as The Atom, and Rila Fukushima is hired to play Katana. “Arrow” season 3 is set to return on Wednesday, October 8 at 8 P.M. on The CW.

“George “Digger” Harkness is a violent thug from Australia who uses a variety of high-tech boomerangs to commit crimes and fight the Flash. This has made him a member of the violent Rogues gallery. He has also been a member of the Suicide Squad, the Injustice Gang, the Secret Society of Super-Villains and the Black Lantern Corps. Harkness was killed during Identity Crisis although he was later resurrected during Blackest Night. His son is Owen Mercer, a character of conflicted morality with limited super-speed who’s been a hero and a villain. Captain Boomerang was created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino, first appearing in Flash #117.
