Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye might get his ‘Captain America’ cameo after all, since he was originally planned to be included in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, but ended up  being removed entirely. Renner teased that the arrow shooting hero might be involved in “Captain America 3“. The “Bourn” star has a full slate with two Marvel movies currently in production, and uncertainty looms with his inclusion of the other eight pics still to be made. He was first seen in action as Hawkeye in “Thor”, he then reprised his role in “The Avengers”, and will be seen next in “Avengers: Age of Ultron“.

Renner recently spoke with Collider when he teased his appearance in “Captain America 3”:

“There are rumblings of Captain America 3,”

“I don’t know what’s going to happen there. I’ve got to find the time, man (laughs). I’m trying to stay home and I can’t.”

We mentioned that Renner has a full slate a little earlier, and by the look of things we might be lucky if he can squeeze in an appearance. He will be spending time in front of the cameras for MI5 which just kicked off production, followed by “Bourne 5”.

“Captain America 3″ is slated to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
