Warner Bros. released a second trailer featuring a longer look at what to expect from the super creepy ”The Conjuring” Spin-Off, “Annabelle”. “The Conjuring” director James Wan passed on the helming duties to John Leonetti, who seems to have a firm grip on meeting expectations for the hotly anticipated spin-off. There are a few cleverly placed cameras that build tension based on their location to reveal the supernatural entity. “Annabelle” will tell the origin story of the creepy-ass Annabelle doll, while building a strong case for doll owners to meet in one secluded place to burn the whole lot…seriously! This horror movie spin-off looks amazing and even though not much is revealed, we are teased enough to lock our doors and check the locks before we go to bed tonight.

Second ‘Annabelle’ Trailer Unveils The Evil Origins

The clip opens with the scene from the previous trailer where Annabelle Wallis’ pregnant character is awoken by her crazy neighbor screaming. The crazed woman ends up dead with the doll clutched in her arms after trying to kill Wallis. The intriguing bit of the scene is when a drop of blood is seen dripping in the eye of the Annebelle doll, this probably gives away the origin of the doll’s evil roots. Set to the song “I Only Have Eyes For You” performed by The Flamingos (which is now the last song you want hear ever), the family of three move to a new house and Annabelle makes the trip with them…… but she is not alone. They are Haunted by something (someone) and even a priest and a medium is called in to investigate with only the doll to blame for the unholy visits.
