The comic legend praised the success of the Marvel’s movies and the cast bringing our favorite characters to life. He also mentioned that he spent time with Chris Hemsworth to shoot his cameo:

“All it can do is make it better for Marvel if we do these movies and the movies are successful. There are people reading Marvel comic books that would have never thought to read a comic book before. It helps the comic book business. The movie business has been unbelievably incredible. The Marvel movies are about the biggest money-making movies of all

“The movies have been great. We have been so lucky. We’ve got the best directors, the best special effects people and wonderful actors. People that had not been big stars before like the fellow who plays Thor (Hemsworth) – he’s wonderful!”

“I was with him yesterday – I did my cameo of course [for ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’]. And Chris [Evans] who plays Captain America… He’s excellent.”

Making appearances in 21 Marvel adapted movies, Lee always finds a way of hiding himself in small roles for us to find him. The “Where is Wally” element of finding Lee in Marvel movies has become a favorite among comic book movie geeks!

According to marvel-movies.wikia.com, Lee once commented on his experience while filming a cameo for one of the movies.

He said:

“It’s almost scary ‘cause they just give me a date. They’ll say, “Stan, come over next Thursday for your cameo,” but they don’t tell me what it is. So, I show up and they say, “Go to wardrobe.” In wardrobe, they say, “We want to get you a white shirt and a green sweater and a black zippered jacket,” and I’ll say, “Don’t bother, I’m wearing one.” And then, they say, “But, you can’t wear yours!,” and they look around and get me the exact same thing, but I’m not allowed to wear my own. And I still don’t know what my role will be. I go on the set and one minute before we’re gonna shoot, the director says, “Okay, Stan, this is what I want you to do. So, I don’t know what is expected of me, until I get there, but of course, I do it magnificently.”

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” is set to be released on May 1, 2015. Robert Downey Jr. will reprise his role as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as The Cap, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.
