“The Walking Dead” season 5 just launched a new teaser for its gripping post-apocalyptic horror series. Executive producer Robert Kirkman revealed in a featurette released last week, that season 5 will “hit the ground running” and “that we definitely start this season in an up cycle.” In the newly released clip, we get to see Carol, Tyreese and baby Judith as they follow the railroad tracks. Facing a dangerous onslaught from the undead, Carol and Tyreese rely on their instincts to survive. For now, they will hide, but will they survive the approaching group of walkers?

The clip was released during the “Talking Dead Season Preview Special”. The upcoming season is currently in production and is set to air on AMC this fall. Based on the comic created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard, season 5 is promising to have the “most ambitious first episode” in the shows history!
