Creator Tim Kring’s 13-episode standalone miniseries “Heroes: Reborn” secures Jack Coleman’s Noah for the new action sci-fi adventure. Coleman is the first official “Heroes” alum to sign on for the NBC series since the announcement that Kring and the gang is set to return to the small-screen. Deadline reports that Zachary Quinto a.k.a. Sylar and Milo Ventimiglia a.k.a. Peter were also approached but are currently unavailable. Noah Bennett a.k.a. HRG (the Man in the Horn-Rimmed Glasses) is a former agent of “The Company” a.k.a. Primatech who was responsible for locating and tracking evolved humans.

The announcement on the official Twitter account for “Heroes: Reborn” reads:

NBC’s official Heroes site says that “the Heroes saga continues in the summer of 2015 as new and returning characters collide in the epic and never-ending battle between the powers of good and the forces of evil.”

We don’t see any point to “rebooting”  Heroes unless we have the father of the cheerleader calling the shots, welcome back HRG!
