“Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” is turning out to be one of the most anticipated movies in decades. Directed by Robert Rodriguez from a graphic novel created by Frank Miller, we are extremely excited to share the second extended trailer. The new clip features additional characters but their significance in the sequel is still not revealed. We also get to see a bit more of Mickey Rourke’ Marv and Jessica Alba’s Nancy.

Among the new characters is Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Johnny, “a cocky gambler who disguises a darker mission to destroy his most foul enemy at his best game”. Josh Brolin takes on the role as Dwight McCarthy (previously played by Clive Owen), his character struggles to stay out of trouble but finds more headaches when his former lover, Ava Lord returns. Trying to escape an abusive husband with an evil bodyguard, Ava relies on Dwight to assist but he is taking on more than he can handle.
In production for nearly 10 years, the sequel is based on the “Dame to Kill For” graphic novel by Frank Miller which features four segments. The sequel is set to be released on August 22.
