There is an untitled crime thriller in the works with Channing Tatum attached as the star and producer. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the “22 Jump Street” actor and his partner Reid Carolin is onboard to produce the movie along with the 86th Academy Awards’ producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

The site says the pic will be set in the late 1970s and will be based on an “inspiring true story of an ordinary family man who decides to risk everything by going undercover to take down the biggest mob boss in the country.” Zadan and Meron will be joined by frequent collaborator Kristin Gore who is tapped to write the script. Some might say Tatum is risking everything to take on this project, do you guys think he has the acting chops to pull this off?
