We finally get an idea of the size of Daenerys Targaryen’ dragons in the upcoming seasons of Game of Thrones. George R. R. Martin posted an image showing Aegon the Conqueror on the back of his fierce dragon, Balerion the Black Dread. The author posted an excerpt from his upcoming companion book to his bestselling Song of Ice and Fire novels on his website, with the accompanying illustration of the awesome dragon. The upcoming companion book will be titled…< Take a deep breath now> …”The World of Ice and Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the World of Game of Thrones.”

Aegon I Targaryen a.k.a Aegon the Conqueror, was the conqueror of the Seven Kingdoms and the founder of the ruling Targaryen dynasty of Westeros. The excerpt also provides historical information on House Targaryen and details on how Aegon conquered the Kingdoms.
