Ever since the day we heard that the next Avengers movie will be called “Avengers: Age of Ultron” we’ve been burning with the desire to know how director Joss Whedon will bring the super villain to screen.

We are pleased to announce that, thanks to the guys from MovieWeb, we now know what the mask of Ultron will look like in the movie. Joss Whedon decided to stay true to the comics, which is very comforting feeling going forward.

Currently Avengers: Age of Ultron is continuing to shoot in Italy under the direction of Joss Whedon. A new 7-minute set video has arrived that gives us a look at Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) meeting on a bridge. They are later joined by Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and towards the end we see them confronting a pre-CGI Ultron. At the 5:26 mark, the actor in the Ultron suit, who is clearly not James Spader, lifts his Ultron mask high up in the air and gives it a good turn so that everyone can see it. While Ultron will ultimately be CGI in the finished movie, this is our first good look at the silver helmet being used for this villain.

The quality is pretty crap, but this is what we managed to pull. The resemblance to the top image here is uncanny:
