Multiple reports suggest that Fox has finally found its Fantastic Four. The last time we checked in on the casting rumors, Miles Teller, Kit Harington and Richard Madden were considered for Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic).  Michael B. Jordan was tapped for the role as Johnny Storm (The Human Torch), Kate Mara and Saoirse Ronan was attached to portray Sue Storm (Invisible Woman) and Ben Grimm’s The Thing was still vacant.

There you have it geeks, the only real surprise is Jamie Bell who was never mentioned in connection to the superhero reboot until now. Josh Gad was once rumored to take on the role as The Thing but luckily the rumor was debunked. The casting news is not official yet but we can expect an announcement soon.

Based on the comic “The Ultimate Fantastic Four,” the contemporary update will focus on the characters as young men and women. The film will follow the foursome who gained superpowers after exposure to cosmic rays during a scientific mission to outer space. “X-Men: Days of Future Past” scribe Simon Kinberg’s script is finished for the anticipated reboot. The Josh Trank directed ‘Fantastic Four’ flick is set to be released on June 19, 2015.
