Duke-Nukem

We have another Duke Nukem game heading our way fans! 3DRealms appears to be planning another Duke Nukem game from Interceptor Entertainment. A teaser site, AllOutOfGum, is currently counting down the days until 25 February, with a header that reads “Few could have predicted…” The site briefly linked to a Facebook page for Duke Nukem: Mass Destruction. It’s obviously a play on one of Duke’s most famous quotes “It’s time to kick ass or chew bubblegum, and I’m all out of gum” The description on that page states, “The King makes his next-generation début in Duke Nukem: Mass Destruction, a top-down action role-playing game for PC and PlayStation 4.

The site is registered to Interceptor, the studio that ported Duke Nukem 2 on iOS.

Fans at the Duke 4 forum claim to have deciphered a piece of “alien” text that appeared on the Facebook page, which also calls it a top-down action RPG. “Duke Nukem kicks ass across planets in an unreal engine-powered galactic adventure to save the president from an apocalyptic alien threat,” it reads. “All new enemies. A never before seen arsenal of devastating weaponry and series-first mechanics, including experience points and tech trees, will let Duke rip ‘em a new one in a way he never has before.”

Interceptor spokesperson Tom Ohle told IGN, “We’re excited to share more info about our upcoming game. Let’s see what happens when the timer runs out.”

No doubt we will be getting the official news on February the 25th. We will keep you posted.
