Josh Gad has personally debunked the rumor that he might portray Ben Grimm a.k.a. The Thing in the “Fantastic Four” reboot.

The “Frozen (2013)” voice cast member took to Twitter with the following response:
“Everyone please calm down,”
“There is no truth to rumor of me playing Grimm. Besides, I’m too busy prepping to play a young Luke Skywalker.”
Well, that settles it. Gad doesn’t fit the description to take on the role as Ben Grimm anyway. We still don’t have any updates regarding the additional rumors making the rounds at the moment.

“X-Men: Days of Future Past” scribe Simon Kinberg’s script is finished for the anticipated reboot. Fox is expected to start testing for Reed Richards (aka Mister Fantastic) and Sue Storm (aka the Invisible Woman). The Josh Trank directed ‘Fantastic Four’ flick is set to be released on June 19, 2015.
