The R-rated animated comedy “Sausage Party” is developed by Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill and Evan Goldberg. James Franco, Rogen and Hill will lead the voice cast, with Michael Cera, Kristen Wiig, Edward Norton, Nick Kroll, and David Krumholtz will also support the comedy superstars in the pic.

Jonah Hill spoke to Mtv.com, he said:
“It’s a 3-D CG animated movie,”
“Imagine if ‘Shrek’ was R-rated, a very hard and aggressive R. It takes place in a supermarket.”
According to a report by The Wrap the film focuses on:
“one heroic piece of meat’s quest to discover the truth about his existence. After falling out of a shopping cart, the sausage protagonist teams up with some new friends to embark on a perilous journey through the supermarket and return to their aisles before the Fourth of July sale.”
‘Sausage Party’ helmed by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan is set to be released somewhere in 2015.
