Paul Walker’s tragic death on November 30 last year has left some upcoming movies without a star. The “Fast and Furious” actor was attached to star in drama romance “The Best of Me” and in action flick “Agent 47”. Thewrap.com reports that “X-Men” star James Marsden is tapped to take over the acting duties in “The Best of Me”, which is an adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ best-selling book of the same title. Michael Hoffman will direct the feature film for Relativity and also write the script with J. Mills Goodloe and Will Fetters. The book’s author Sparks serves as one of the producers.

“The Story follows former high school sweethearts who reunite after 20 years apart when they return to their small town for the funeral of a beloved friend. Sparks fly again, but the forces that drove them apart back then get in the way once more.”
