Bruce Springsteen’s “High Hopes was unexpectedly available online ahead of its release on January 14. The Boss’ album was available for purchase on Amazon on Saturday, December 28 via Amazon’s mobile website as individual tracks in MP3 format. Amazon removed the record, but it has already made its way onto file-sharing websites across the globe. Representatives for Springsteen and Amazon haven’t commented on the unexpected early release. The 64-year-old singer’s new album is mostly a collection of covers and unreleased songs from the past decade. The late members of The E Street Band, Clarence Clemons and Danny Federici appear on “High Hopes” along with Tom Morello. The album marks the Boss’ 18th studio album and first since 2012’s “Wrecking Ball.”
