Director Colin Trevorrow has revealed a tidbit of what can be expect from the much anticipated “Jurassic World” movie.

Trevorrow Twitter message reads:

“@pfcbains916 Reboot is a strong word. This is a new sci-fi terror adventure set 22 years after the horrific events of Jurassic Park.”

Director Colin Trevorrow is dedicated to making a “kick-ass Jurassic Park movie,” taking place 22 years after the events of “Jurassic Park”

This was the biggest unanswered question since the announcement that “Jurassic Park 4” is in the works. At least we know it will not be a reboot or a prequel. This also marks Trevorrow’s first studio film, and he once said he is committed to making something worth watching:

“It’s important to make a movie for the fans but I also have to remember that there’s a lot of people who just couldn’t care less and need me to make a solid case for why the hell there’s a Jurassic Park 4 in the first place, and I want to make a movie for them too.”

Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson have been confirmed to join the cast. Chris Pratt is rumored to take on the lead role as a rugged ex-military man.

‘Jurassic World’ will be released on June 12, 2015.
