“Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul’s “Need for Speed” has launched its first full trailer online. Muse’s song “Butterflies and Hurricanes” is set in the background while Tobey Marshall (Paul) is taking on ex-NASCAR driver Dino Brewster (Dominic Cooper). Marshall is out of prison for a crime he didn’t commit, and back onto the streets to enforce his own brand of justice.
Hot pursuit!
We are still not sure which crime Paul’s Marshall has been framed for, more importantly, Dino’s Cooper has his work cut out with a vengeful Marshall on his heels. Marshall will be racing “”Need for Speed” style cross-country evading cops and yes….there will be a bounty.
We can only hope and keep our fingers crossed that the big screen adaptation of everyone’s favorite racing game will be as much fun to watch as it is to play the game. The film will be released by DreamWorks on April 14, 2014. Paul and Cooper will be supported by Imogen Poots, Kid Cudi, Ramon Rodriguez, Michael Keaton and Dakota Johnson.
