The first official trailer for “Black Swan” helmer Darren Aronofsky’s ‘Noah’ has arrived. The clip takes a quick look at Russell Crowe’s attempt to warn his people about the massive floods. Noah woke up from a dream where he gets visions of major floods that will mark the end of the world. God saw how great wickedness had become and decided to wipe mankind from the face of the earth.
Methuselah, portrayed by Anthony Hopkins tells him:
“My father said that one day, if man continued in his ways, the creator would annihilate this world. He speaks to you. You must trust that he speaks in a way you can understand.”
Noah fails to convince his people of their fate, and instead, he and his family are cast out and mocked by villagers lead by Tubal-cain (Ray Winstone). With very specific instructions, God told Noah to build an ark for him and his family in preparation for a catastrophic flood that would destroy every living thing on earth. Noah and his family immediately take on the enormous task of building the giant Ark to prepare for God’s will.
Russell Crowe is supported by Jennifer Connelly (Noah’s wife), Emma Watson (daughter), Logan Lerman and Douglas Booth (sons, respectively). The film is scheduled to be released on a March 28, 2014.
