Don’t get me wrong here if I say that adult parody films will benefit from the names given to bond girls over the years. Some might say it is in the minds of those individuals reading the names where the problem starts, however the names on the list is clearly suggestive of other things if you catch my drift. Whatever the bond films lacked in the nudity department they certainly made up for in controversial/suggestive names.
1. Pussy Galore (Honor Blackman – Goldfinger)
At the age of 39, Honor Blackman was the oldest actress to grace the silver screen as a Bond girl. Perhaps a cat collection is the answer for her creative name. I can only imagine the first time people read the script and double checked the front cover to ensure it was the right one.
2. Octopussy (Maud Adams – Octopussy)
Octopussy serves as the title of the film and the name of the famous bond girl Maud Adams. Come to think of it, the title really sounds like a corny SyFy film, take that Sharknado! Will there be eight weird naked ladies in this one if the film was made?
3. Honey Ryder (Ursula Andress – Dr. No)
Don’t be surprised if you hear this name popping up at your best friend’s bachelor party. Probably the best name for a stripper in history, throw in Def Leppard’s “Pour some sugar on me” and you are set.
4. Dr. Holly Goodhead (Lois Chiles – Moonraker)
Dr. Holly Goodhead is an astronaut with a doctorate; people might say she’s really ahead in life. The name isn’t really suggestive enough to make you think twice about it, however pinned next to all the other names on the list, we understand exactly where this was heading.
5. Xenia Onatopp (Famke Janssen – GoldenEye)
The villainous Xenia Onatopp appears to receive sexual pleasure by crushing men between her thighs during coitus. I still know a few guys that will consider the challenge accepted if presented with the opportunity to face-off against Onatopp ‘s killer thighs.
