A new trailer for true-story film “Lone Survivor” has arrived. The clip shows the group of soldiers planning to take down their targets as they are faced with a decision that will compromise the mission. They are eventually caught in an ambush as Lt. Michael P. Murphy (Taylor Kitsch) attempts to call for reinforcements. The film is based on the true story of a four-man Navy SEAL team fighting off the Taliban in the Afghan mountains after their mission is botched. The war drama is based on a nonfiction best-selling book written by Marcus Luttrell, the lone survivor.
Pete Berg will be at the helm, which includes an all star cast: Alexander Ludwig, Ben Foster, Emile Hirsch and Eric Bana. “Lone Survivor” is scheduled for a limited release on December 27, before hitting theaters nationwide on January 10, 2014.
